Xtreme Fighting Academy is located in Douglas, GA.

The head instructor is professional mixed martial arts fighter Scott Harper.  Scott represents American Top Team and Charles McCarthy out of Boca Raton, Florida.   At XFA, we offer Muay Thai kickboxing, Submission Grappling and Wrestling instructions. We also offer a kids class which is designed around  boys and girls ages 5-16.

Southern Rage III was held in Douglas on March 15   We had a good crown that was entertained with some good MMA matches. Winning from XFA was Billy Wall, Adam Fender and Chris Anderson.  Cory Caves put up a good fight and thrilled the crowd.with some awsome acrobatic moves but lost a 3 round decision.   Donnie Williams lost his debut but only get better. Kevin Williams lost to a TKO in the first round following a full body slam which everyone except the ref thought was illegal.  Billy showed some good BJJ as he choked out his opponent in the 1st round. Adam keeps getting better as he has won his last 2 fights in much improved fashion. Chris had little trouble with his last minute replacement opponent, winning early to stay undefeated at 4-0  Congrats men and keep up the good work

Scott signed a 5 fight contract with World Extreme Cage Fighting and took a fight on 1 weeks notice to face a 9-1 fighter in Las Vegas and  lost 24 pounds to fight at 185.  Early in the fight Scott got accidently poked in the right eye and lost vision in that eye even though he fought on and almost had his opponent in a kimora he eventually lost as the ref stopped the match due to strikes to that eye.  He has a bad looking eyeball .but the Doc says it will heal in a few days.
